Who is SAR Gems?
SAR Gems (Sar Gems (Thai) Co. Ltd.) is a Bangkok manufacturer, wholesaler and exporter of gemstone beads, loose gemstones, 14k and 18k gold findings, 925 sterling silver rosary chains and jewelry, in business since 2002. We have two shops in Bangkok: No. 1307, Charoen Krung Road, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500, and Shop No. 130 AB, Ground Floor, Jewelry Trade Center (JTC), 919/1 Silom Road, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order a single strand, one foot of chain or one piece. For larger wholesale quantities, email sales@sargems.com.
Who do you sell to?
Jewelry makers, designers, retailers and wholesalers worldwide. Anyone can order online; prices are in USD.
How do I pay?

Rosary chains and plating
What is a rosary chain?
A rosary chain is a chain of gemstone beads, each wire-wrapped and linked to the next. Jewelry makers use it for necklaces, bracelets, anklets and earrings. Most of ours are 925 sterling silver with stones from 2mm to about 6mm, and we also make solid 14k and 18k gold rosary chains. Read our rosary chain guide or browse all rosary chains.
How is "sold by the foot" measured?
One unit is one foot (12 inches, 30.5 cm). A quantity of 3 means 3 feet. If you need it as one continuous length, add a note at checkout. Rough guide: bracelet 0.6 ft, choker 1.33 ft, 18-inch necklace 1.5 ft, 24-inch necklace 2 ft.
Which platings can I choose?
Silver, Gold Plated, Rose Gold Plated or Black Rhodium, all on 925 sterling silver and all at the same price. Pick the plating on the product page before adding to cart.
Are your 18k and 14k gold rosary chains solid gold?
Yes, items titled "solid gold" are solid 18k or 14k gold and are sold by the inch. Plated or gold-filled items always say "plated" or "filled" in the title.
What does gold plated mean?
Our gold plated and rose gold plated chains are 925 sterling silver with a layer of gold on top. They look like gold at a silver price. Gemstones
Are your gemstones natural and untreated?
Many gemstones on the market, including ours, are treated to improve colour or clarity. We name treatments in product titles where they apply: coated, dyed jade, hydro, cubic zirconia, glass-filled. See our Gemstone Treatments page for what each means. Ask us about any specific stone.
Shipping and returns
How much is shipping and is it free?
International shipping is free on orders of USD 200 or more. Below that it is USD 10 for orders under USD 50 and USD 20 for orders from USD 50 to USD 199.99. Shipping within Thailand is free. Parcels go by FedEx Express, usually 2 to 3 working days door to door, and are insured free up to USD 500. We can't ship to PO boxes. Full details: shipping policy.
Do I pay customs duties?
Yes. Import duties, taxes and customs fees in your country are paid by the buyer and aren't included in our prices.
What is your return policy?
You can ship items back within 7 days of the delivery date. Tell us within 3 days of delivery at returns@sargems.com. Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is paid by the buyer. Wrong or defective items are exempt from these limits. Full details: refund policy.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, USD 2 per item. Ask us when you order.

What are your shop opening hours?
Charoen Krung shop: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 16:00. JTC Silom shop: Monday to Friday 9:30 to 19:00, Saturday 9:30 to 16:30. Both shops are closed on Sunday. Online orders are taken 24/7.
